Harrison

These are the homes for sale in Milton right now, pulled from the MLS and updated through the day. Most of what you will see was built from the early 2000s onward, because that is when the town's big subdivisions south of the 401 went up.
If you are new to Milton, the biggest decision is not the house, it is the part of town. A three-storey townhome in Harrison and a backsplit in Timberlea can land in a similar range and feel completely different to live in. I am happy to walk you through the trade-offs before you book showings.

If you want walkability and character, Old Milton around Main Street is the only true heritage neighbourhood, with older detached homes on mature lots. If you want a newer home with the GO station and 401 close, look at Dempsey, Beaty, Clarke, Coates and Timberlea in the north half of the urban area. For escarpment views and Mattamy's newer streets, look at Harrison, Scott and Willmott on the west side. The Boyne Survey neighbourhoods south of Louis St. Laurent Avenue are the newest and have the most recent resale stock.
If you want land, the rural areas of Campbellville, Nassagaweya and Trafalgar have acreage properties, many on wells and septic, which need their own inspections and insurance checks.
Milton has a lot of freehold townhomes and semi-detached homes, which makes it one of the more accessible places in Halton to own a house with no condo board. Detached homes range from compact lots in the newer surveys to large lots in Timberlea and Old Milton. Condos are a smaller but growing share, mostly mid-rise buildings near Derry Road and Main Street.
Many newer homes are still in their first or second owner's hands, so I look closely at things that age in that window: original roofs and furnaces from the 2000s, finished basements done without permits, and any separate side entrance that was added after the fact.
Before you offer, I pull the recent sales of comparable homes on the same street or in the same phase, not a town-wide average, because a model with a single-car garage and one with a double garage can trade far apart even next door to each other. I also check what is planned nearby, since Milton is still growing and a field behind a house today may be a school or a townhouse block later.
One of Canada's fastest-growing communities, framed by the Niagara Escarpment.
There are currently 465 active listings matching homes for sale in Milton, with a median asking price of $1,099,900 and an average of $604 per square foot. Properties here are moving quickly, so be ready to view within a day or two of a listing going live and expect competing offers.

Free home evaluationFreehold townhomes are usually the entry point to owning a house in Milton, followed by semi-detached homes. Condo apartments can cost less again, but come with monthly fees. The live listings on this page show what each type is going for today.
Yes, but not many. Old Milton has heritage homes from the late 1800s and early 1900s, and Timberlea has a lot of late 1970s and 1980s houses. Almost everything else in town was built from the 2000s on.
The station sits off Main Street near Timberlea, Old Milton and the southwest corner of Dempsey, so those areas have the shortest trips to the train. Most of the newer neighbourhoods are a short drive away.
Resale gives you a finished neighbourhood, mature trees and a known closing date. New construction gives you a warranty and a chance to choose finishes, but you may wait and live with construction nearby. I can show you both and compare what you actually get for the money.
You pay the Ontario land transfer tax. Milton does not have a separate municipal land transfer tax like Toronto's. First-time buyers may qualify for a provincial refund; your lawyer will confirm the amount on closing.
