Virtual Office Website (VOW) Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the registered-access areas of this website, which display Virtual Office Website (VOW) data supplied by the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB). You must accept these terms before an account is created for you.

1. Broker–consumer relationship

By registering, you acknowledge a lawful broker–consumer relationship with Faran Tareen of CENTURY 21 Green Realty Inc., Brokerage. Registration is a prerequisite to accessing VOW data under TRREB rules and does not on its own create a representation agreement.

2. Account requirements

You must provide your name and a valid email address, choose a password, and accept these terms. Your account is personal to you. You may not share your credentials, and you are responsible for activity conducted under your account.

3. Permitted use of VOW data

VOW data — including sold prices, leased prices, closing dates, and delisted or terminated listing history — is provided solely for your personal, non-commercial use in identifying properties you may be interested in purchasing or leasing. You may not:

  • reproduce, redistribute, publish, or display VOW data on any other website or medium;
  • use automated means, including scrapers, crawlers, or scripts, to retrieve data;
  • compile, aggregate, or resell the data, or use it to build or train any product or model;
  • use the data for any commercial purpose, including competitive analysis or valuation services.

4. Search engine exclusion

VOW data is excluded from search engine indexing by technical means, including robots directives and per-page noindex tags. Circumventing those controls is a breach of these terms.

5. Accuracy and no warranty

VOW data is supplied by TRREB and its member brokerages, is deemed reliable but is not guaranteed accurate, and is provided without warranty of any kind. It must not be relied upon as an appraisal or as a substitute for professional advice.

6. Ownership

All listing content remains the property of TRREB, CREA, and the respective listing brokerages. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership interest to you.

7. Monitoring and termination

Access is logged and monitored as required by the TRREB VOW agreement. Access may be suspended or terminated at any time, without notice, where use is inconsistent with these terms or with TRREB rules.

8. Changes

These terms may be amended to reflect changes to TRREB rules or applicable law. Continued use of your account after an amendment constitutes acceptance.
